The day is long and varied…. and I am tired and harried….

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”. Psalm 23:4

This is one of the most beautiful verses from the Bible. The Bible?!? You ask. Aren’t you a heathen, Mrs. Lenette Graham with all of your sexual innuendo and musings of promiscuity and sodomy! Well, no, I am not a heathen. I am one of God’s chosen. Would you listen to me if I only spoke of righteousness? Would you read my writings if I only wrote about virginity? Of course not. You want to be titillated and shocked. You want to feel a movement in your groin. As do I. God has made me with these feelings, so are they not righteous? Am I doomed to an eternity of fire and brimstone just because I am human and I have feelings?  I think not. I am made in God’s image. “Let he without sin, throw the first stone.” John 8:7.

Are you without sin, Dear Reader? Have you lived your life in a bubble? Have you been Christ-like in all that you do? Please think about that before you answer. Are you trying to convince those around you that you are righteous or are you trying to convince yourself? I try really hard to treat everyone as I believe God would want me to. I am open minded. I truly believe that some people cannot help the way they are. They cannot help their proclivities to certain behaviors. I am not saying that  it is okay for them to act on some of those feelings… I don’t know… I’m just torn I guess…. I am all for “an eye for an eye” and trust me when I tell you that if anyone were to hurt my children or loved ones I would probably become a vigilante rather than let the “legal system” sort everything out. I am a very passionate person. Passionate about life, love, death, hate and hurt.

I am passionate about my personal relationship with God. I often speak my mind, rather than just let things fester. I feel that God knows exactly what I’m thinking anyway, so why not share it with someone who may have a different point of view. I welcome your opinions. It’s called dialogue. And if I’m just speaking and no one’s speaking back, well then that’s just a monologue. Talk to me. Follow me on Twitter. Direct message me. Email me. Tell me your thoughts. Don’t just sit there like a lump on a log.

Peace be with you until we meet again.
