Note to Monica “Danger” Leon

Hey Monica! I will probably send you a text message later to reiterate what I am about to say right now. So the reunion show is later today (the taping of it) and you have recently asked whether you should beat up Unique or not. My first response is “Yes, beat her ass! She talked a whole lot of shit!” However, the thoughtful Lenette says “No, Monica. Don’t do it”.

We already know that VH1 is going to milk the hell out of this show and your image as a “crazy ass woman”. You are on an upward trajectory. Don’t spoil it now. I know that it is very tempting to go in whooping ass and taking names later. Please remember what you and your family have already went through because of everything that has transpired. If you have “handlers” that are telling you that actin’ a fool will further your career, take their advice with a grain of salt. They are only trying to ride on your coattails and if you should make a misstepp and are forced out of the spotlight, guess what? They won’t be there for you.

I’m sure it sounds like I am wrambling, and I am. I have a horrendous headache and can barely think clearly enough to put a cute outfit together, let alone write a heartfelt note of encouragment to you. I need to go lay down. Just remember what we spoke about on the phone and your future plans. Don’t get sidetracked and bamboozled into becoming a circus act. You are a very intelligent,  talented and beautiful young woman. The past is just that, the past! You have your whole life ahead of you. Please continue to make smart decisions that will sustain you in the long run.

Ray J’s New Video “Sexy Ladies” featuring Monica “Danger” Leon

Ray J has filmed a video for his new song  Sexy Ladies.  There are a few of the ladies from VH1’s For the love of Ray J  in the video, but  Monica “Danger” Leon appears to be the star.

From the looks of it, Ray J is REALLY feeling Danger!!

I’m not at all surprised! When I watch the show I can see that Ray J is very fond of Monica. I am always talking back to the TV saying silly stuff like “Ray J don’t want you” to whichever girl is in his face at the time. They all seem really desperate, except for Monica.

And OMG! Will he please get rid of Unique’s old ass?!?! She tries to act like she’s a “lady”. Give me a break! I thought she was very pretty when I first saw her, she appeared to be poised and  articulate. I was even rooting for her, until she started to show her true colors. Her manipulative ways and funky attitude really turned me off.

Is this how a "Lady" dresses?!? I KNOW that she has ona bikini and I have no problem with her attire besides the fact that she's wearing it! She acts like she's as pure as the driven snow and as if the rest of the ladies are all hoes. Puh-leeze!! That wild ass hair and all that cleavage tells a different story altogether.

I could not contain myself when it was revealed that Unique would have to box Monica! I can’t tell you how many times I rewound that just so I could see that scared look on her face! I was so mad when that heffa chickened out! I wanted to see her get “knocked the fuck out!”  as Smokey would say.

Oh, and now Unique is all over the place talkin shit about Monica! Ummm… okay… where was all this bravado when it was time to box? Mmmmm.. hmmmm… that’s what I thought! She scurred!!

Pretty woman….

I have come across some unsavory photographs of a beautiful, creative, intelligent, young woman named Monica Leon or “Danger” to fans of the VH1 reality show “For the Love of Ray J”.  I will not post them here or anywhere for that matter, I am NOT into exploitation!! But I am very sad that this young woman felt the need to “go there”. I can understand a woman taking pics for her husband/lover/significant other, but not for a photographer to further their own career by posting them on the internet. She may have received $1,000 if she was lucky! I hope that she received more than that and is still receiving residuals from the publication of her photographs.

I made a snide remark on Twitter that I love when unknowns sign model releases, and in actuality I do love it! But, I am torn. I see myself when I look at this young, creative woman. Her appearance, some of her personality traits and her devil-may-care attitude reminds me of myself when I was that age. I’m still shaking my head over this one. I don’t think that anyone pulled the wool over her eyes. On the contrary, I believe she was just like “Eff the world and everyone in it! I am going to do me and I don’t give a damn what anyone has to say about it!”  I named this post pretty woman because “Danger” recently disclosed in a radio interview that she has been a prostitute in the past….. “Oh! No wonder!” you say… It’s not that cut and dry.

I have had a close relationship with a prostitute, so I know how hard a decision that is for a women to make. I also have known a couple of women that had no problem deciding to sell  their bodies, almost like it was a given. I could NEVER sell myself, I have way too many God-given talents! That would be like me giving God the finger. Oh no! Never that! But let’s get into the head of a prostitute…. 

How, you ask? Well, remember my first post? Back when I said that I was going to tell my mother’s story? Yup, you guessed it! My Mommy was a hooker/prostitute/lady of the evening… whatever terminology that you feel comfortable with, they all mean the same damn thing. I get really sad when I think about it, so for me to write about it is going to take a lot of courage. See? I am already crying! I need to compose myself and gather my thoughts…….I’ll be back….
